Crommelins Post Hole Diggers & Augers

Groundhog one-person post hole diggers and matching earth augers, made in the USA and distributed in Australia by Crommelins Machinery. The GHM1H runs a genuine Honda GX35 four-stroke engine and weighs 11.5kg, light enough for a single operator to work all day, drilling holes up to 200mm in diameter. A centrifugal clutch disengages when the auger hits a hidden root or rock, and the handlebars carry a dead-man switch.

Augers are sold separately in 2, 4, 6 and 8 inch, built from heavy-duty steel with replaceable pilot and digging blades so the auger is rebuilt rather than replaced as the cutting edges wear. Suits fencing and post installation, tree planting, footings and hire fleets.
