Powered by a simple Anderson connection, plug it in, attach your input and output hoses, and it is ready. Self-priming means it starts on its own when you open the tap rather than needing to be manually primed. An ultra-fine mesh filter blocks dirt and debris before it reaches the pump, and there is a blade fuse built in. The tough ABS box keeps water, rust and dust off the pump between trips.

Note the trade-off between the two pumps: this one moves more water (12L/min) at lower pressure (35 PSI), while the 6L/min unit runs 65 PSI. For a shower, flow matters more; for pushing water any distance or up a rise, pressure does.
