The KickAss Flexicharge 12V 50A ACDC Smart Battery Charger is the mains charger for large banks, up to 50A of output, enough to bring a 200Ah lithium battery back to full in around four hours. It handles lead acid, AGM, gel and lithium, anywhere from 15Ah to 300Ah.

Four selectable charge currents (50A, 32A, 16A and 4A) mean the same charger maintains a small starter battery and fast-charges a large lithium bank without cooking either. Bluetooth gives you remote setup and live voltage, current and charge stage from your phone, and there is an LCD on the unit itself. Charge Guard covers reverse polarity, short circuit, over-voltage, over-temperature and over-current. An AGM recondition mode works on sulphate build-up in ageing AGM batteries. A quiet mode drops the fan noise for overnight charging, and it will run off the inverter output in an EV, hybrid or mild hybrid vehicle.

Do not charge lithium batteries below 0°C, or any lithium battery without a built-in BMS. Check your battery's maximum continuous charge rating before selecting 50A, the charger will deliver more current than some smaller batteries can safely take.
