The KickAss 12V 300W Super Thin Folding Portable Solar Panel folds flat on a 17mm aluminium frame and weighs over 50% less than an equivalent glass panel, while still putting out 300W. It comes with a PWM solar controller pre-wired to the back, so it connects straight to a battery without sourcing a regulator.

A-grade monocrystalline cells give up to 19.5% efficiency. The whole panel is weatherproof including the controller, and it is hail-proof, shock-resistant and shatterproof, with stainless steel and aluminium fittings so nothing rusts out. A 1.2mm fibreglass heat-resistant PCB backing keeps it from sagging over time, and a smart-magnet system holds it closed without latches. The included controller connects directly to AGM, lead acid, gel and calcium batteries, or can be bypassed entirely if you already run an MPPT controller or a KickAss DCDC battery box.
