The KickAss 12V Bluetooth Soundbar is built for a canopy or a campsite rather than a lounge room, eight marine-grade speakers behind an IP66 rated housing that shrugs off dust, rain and mud. Two tweeters, four mid-range drivers and two passive subwoofers give it 300W peak output.

Bluetooth handles streaming from a phone, a 12V TV or a projector, with an AUX input for anything that will not pair. Pair two soundbars for true wireless stereo. A 160-lumen rear-facing LED bar runs seven modes, white, medium white, red, green, blue, purple and breathing, so it doubles as campsite lighting. There is a built-in mic for hands-free calls, a remote and a front control panel, and the included 12V SAE cable feeds 12V/3A back out for accessories like LED light strips.

There is no internal battery. The soundbar has to be connected to an external 12V supply, a battery, battery box or power station, to work at all. Connecting it to anything other than 12V will damage it. IP66 means it handles dust and water jets, but do not submerge it.
