It will turn concave and convex curves and form proper corners, which makes it suited to terraced beds, split-level yards and raised planters. Build it on compacted roadbase, fill the voids with 20mm aggregate and run an ag pipe behind it.

Adbri publishes a maximum unreinforced height of 1040mm (8 courses) for Windsor Stone. Adbri also advises checking your local council's requirements before starting any retaining wall over 800mm, and Brisbane City Council and City of Gold Coast generally require approval above 1 metre. Any surcharge above the wall - a driveway, vehicle, structure or pool - or sloping ground behind it, needs an engineer.
