Natural Impressions Flagstone is Adbri's stacked-stone look retaining block, with five different face moulds running through the pallet so no two sections of wall repeat, giving a random, quarried dry-stone look once the wall is up. Colour runs through the block rather than sitting as a surface coating, so chips don't show grey, and it comes in three natural colourways: Bluestone, Ironstone and Sandstone.
Flagstone is Adbri's stacked-stone look retaining block. Five different face moulds run through the pallet so no two sections of wall repeat, giving a random, quarried dry-stone appearance that is hard to pick as concrete once the wall is up. The rear lip drops behind the course below and sets the setback for you, so a 700mm wall is a genuine DIY weekend job with no mortar and no pins. It handles curved garden beds, terraces, steps and edging as readily as straight runs.
Key Features
- Five different face profiles - the wall never repeats, it reads as real stacked stone
- Blended through-colour, not a surface coating, so chips do not show grey
- Patented rear-lip stacking: no mortar, no pins, no adhesive between courses
- 700mm + cap DIY unreinforced; engineered to 1500mm + cap
- Three natural colourways - Bluestone, Ironstone and Sandstone
- 9.49kg per block, 33.33 per m2 - a comfortable one-hand DIY unit
- Curves and circles without cutting
- Manufactured to the AS 4455 suite, +/-2mm tolerance
Wall height and approvals
Adbri publishes a maximum unreinforced height of 700mm plus cap (7 courses), or 1500mm plus cap when engineered and reinforced. Adbri advises consulting your local council for all walls over 800mm. Any surcharge above the wall, or sloping ground behind it, needs an engineer.
