Duostone is the contemporary block in Adbri's Natural Impressions range - each unit carries both a smooth architectural face and a rough rock face, so the finished wall reads modern without looking like plain concrete. In Graphite it gives a bold near-black wall that works against rendered houses, dark joinery and modern planting. Rear-lip stacking means no mortar, no pins and no adhesive on the wall itself, so it is a realistic weekend job to 700mm. It curves freely, making it as useful for round garden beds and edging as for straight retaining.
Key Features
- Two finishes on every block - a smooth architectural face beside a rough rock face, in one unit
- Graphite is a genuinely deep near-black - the darkest wall block in the Adbri landscape range
- 700mm + cap high unreinforced, DIY, no engineer needed
- Patented rear-lip system sets the setback for you - no pins, no glue, no mortar, no measuring
- Curves as easily as it runs straight - the 300mm module tightens a radius without cutting
- 33.33 blocks per m2 at 8.7kg - one-hand lift, genuinely DIY
- Engineered to 1500mm + cap if the site needs it
- Manufactured to the AS 4455 suite, +/-2mm tolerance
Wall height and approvals
Adbri publishes a maximum unreinforced height of 700mm plus cap (7 courses), or 1500mm plus cap when engineered and reinforced. Adbri advises consulting your local council for all walls over 800mm. Any surcharge above the wall, or sloping ground behind it, needs an engineer.
