WoodEvo composite starter trim is a 76 x 51mm x 4.2m profile fixed at the base of a castellated cladding wall to set the first board level and close the bottom of the batten cavity. It is the reference line for the whole elevation, so it is fixed first and checked for level before any board goes on. Allow a minimum 5mm expansion gap to the trim at the top and bottom of the cladding run.
