How to Use:
Potting Cacti and Succulents
- Place a small amount of Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix in the base of the pot.
- Position the plant in the centre of the pot; fill around edges to within 20mm of the top of the pot with Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix.
- Press down gently.
- Water in well straight away and then solid water once a week depending on the needs of your plant variety.
Potting Bonsai
- Select your new bonsai pot, ensuring it is in correct proportion to your plant and has large drainage holes.
- Position your anchoring wires through the drainage holes placing bonsai mesh over the holes and cover with a layer of grit.
- Give your plant a thorough water, and remove it from its existing pot.
- Place a small amount of Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix in the base of the pot.
- Place the plant in the pot and add mix until your plant is at the desired height and secure with the anchoring wires.
- Press down gently to firm up the mix.
- Water in well straight away, then continuing fairly regularly over the next few weeks, depending on the plant position and time of year.
