Turfgrid is a permeable concrete grid rather than a paving slab. It is laid where you need a trafficable surface that still lets water through and grass grow - green driveways, overflow parking, machinery and shed approaches, creek and dam batters, stock laneways and around cattle troughs. It stabilises the ground and stops rutting and mud while keeping the area looking like lawn. It needs a permeable open-graded base (25-30mm of clean 2-5mm aggregate bedding), not standard bedding sand.
