The KickAss Battery Box with 25A DCDC Charger turns a battery you already own into a portable power station. Drop your battery in, connect the terminals, close the lid and it is ready to run fridges, lights and accessories, with a built-in 25A DCDC charger so it tops up from your alternator while you drive.

The integrated charger matters. Older battery boxes use a VSR, which does not properly charge or maintain a battery on a modern vehicle; the 25A DCDC works correctly with smart alternators and handles solar through its onboard MPPT as well. Bluetooth monitoring runs through the KA Charge app. A triple Anderson-style connector interfaces with the KickAss Plug and Play Wiring Kit (sold separately), carrying alternator power plus the ignition signal that smart and temperature-compensating alternators need.

No battery is included. This is the box, charger and wiring only, you supply your own AGM or lithium battery. If you want a unit with the battery already built in, look at the 125Ah or 205Ah Lithium Battery Box Power Stations instead. Keep the lid shut whenever the box is charging or powering anything.
