Only above a certain height. Most Adbri blocks are rated for unreinforced DIY walls up to around 600 to 700mm. Taller walls, sloping sites or any surcharge load above the wall need an engineer's design.

It depends on your council and the wall height, but walls over 800mm commonly trigger approval requirements. Check with your local council before starting any wall over that height.

Wedge-shaped blocks are purpose-built for curves and circles, closing a radius without cutting. Straight-sided blocks can form gentle curves but won't handle a tight circle as neatly.
