Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions below.

What's the difference between the paver finishes?

Shotblasted pavers have the surface cement layer stripped back to expose the natural stone aggregate, giving a textured, grippy finish. Honed pavers are ground further for a smoother, near-polished look. Smooth or as-pressed pavers keep the flat face straight from the mould, giving a cleaner, more contemporary finish.

Can Adbri pavers be used around a pool?

Yes, a number of ranges are built for it, with a P5 slip rating and high salt-attack resistance that make them suited to wet, poolside conditions, including saltwater pools.

Which Adbri pavers are suitable for driveways?

Thicker pavers, generally 50mm or more, are rated for driveway use when laid on a properly prepared concrete base rather than standard sand bedding. Thinner 40mm pavers are pedestrian-only and shouldn't go anywhere vehicles drive or turn.

Do I need to seal my Adbri pavers?

No, sealing is optional rather than compulsory across most of the range. It can help with stain resistance and enhance colour, but the paver will perform without it.

Can I mix paver sizes or finishes in one project?

Yes. Several Adbri ranges share the same body and colour palette across different sizes and finishes, so they combine well for feature strips, borders or contrast panels within the same job.
