Silt Fence is made from UV stabilised polypropylene woven geotextile, designed to be a long lasting barrier to retain sediment and silt with a goal of avoiding silt pollution into rivers, drains and sensitive environments.
Application
To protect sensitve areas where silt movement from exposed soil may be caused by wind and/or water flows.
Prevents sediment movement from:
- Soil stockpiles
- Swale drains
- Riparian batters
- Spillways
- Floodways
