Worm castings, also known as worm poo, are an excellent 100% organic fertilizer. They’re rich in nutrients, beneficial bacteria, and microbes that plants thrive on. To use them, mix 4-6kg per square meter into the soil when preparing garden beds, add a handful or two into the planting hole, and sprinkle a few handfuls around the base of your plants during fruiting or flowering. This will result in healthier plants with stronger roots, more resistant to pests and diseases. Additionally, worm castings improve soil absorbency, keeping moisture available for plants and preventing the soil from drying out.
